Flexi-8 Hair Clips Review and Giveaway!

The Flexi-8 is a completely unique and flexible hair clip that holds every type of hair imaginable. It comes in a variety of sizes as well as hundreds of different styles.

I have mentioned before in other reviews how thick and long that my hair is. I like having long hair but I wear it up about 80% of the time. Flexi-8 sent me a varitey of their barrettes to try out. When I first got the package and looked over the barrettes I was a little worried how I would do the review because I was convinced these clips would never be able to hold my hair up. When I wear my hair in a pony-tail the rubber band can only go around twice otherwise it will break. So by first glance I didn't know how these were going to do the job.

I had the Flexi-8 barrettes with me while I was in my car picking my son up from school and I decided while I was waiting to test some the clips out. I could not believe that I could actually put my hair in a ponytail with the large and extra large clips! Not only did they hold my hair but I was able to fix my hair in the car.

I kept the Flexi-8 in my hair the rest of the day and it stayed completely put. I have used the plastic claw type clips before and they just don't really work with my type of hair. They either slip, break or make my head itch. The smaller clips would not work with my hair all the way up in a ponytail but they did hold half of my hair up in the front.
The Flexi-8 are gorgeous and they carry styles for every type of personality or taste. I love the mini barrettes and can't wait to use them on my daughter. She is still a little too small for these but by next summer I think they will look so cute in her hair. The Flexi-8 site has a special video that shows you which sizes are appropriate for which type of hair. It is very important that you watch this video before ordering so that you know which size is right for you.

EcoStore USA Product Review!

Since having kids I have become more conscious of what types of products that I use. I try to use food and products that have the least amounts of chemicals added to them because I don't want my family exposed to anything that could potentially harm them.

I have started using more and more organic foods but I haven't really used very many natural, organic cleaning products. I grew up thinking that the strong odor from the cleaning products meant the house was clean and disinfected. Now I know that just isn't the case and in fact those strong odors are from the chemicals that we are all breathing in.

EcoStore USA is an eco-friendly company that makes plant-based household cleaning products that are as effective as the name brand supermarket brands and there body and baby care line are very gentle on your skin. All of EcoStores products are made from plant and mineral based ingredients, free of toxic chemicals that bring people closer to nature while reducing our carbon footprint.

EcoStore offered to send me two items for me to review. I choose to review the Plant based all-natural Laundry Powder and the Hypoallergenic Pet Shampoo.

My Shitzu Abby has HORRIBLE allergies and over the past 2 years these allergies have cost us several hundred dollars. Between medications and high priced shampoo's nothing seems to work for very long. The last shampoo that I had to buy for Abby cost us...gulp..$38! As I began to give her a bath, I saw a huge warning on the back that said to be sure to wear gloves while applying this shampoo. I should have known from the strong smell that this shampoo was full of chemicals. After the bath the itching did seem to stop for awhile but she smelled worse after the bath than she did before!
The EcoStore Hypoallergenic Shampoo that I was sent could not have come at a better time. I had just taken Abby back to the vet the day before for another round of medications. She usually fights me the whole time when I use the medicated shampoo but she actually liked me bathing her with this. It doesn't really have a smell to it and it did not take that much to get her clean and she has ALOT of hair. After the bath her fur looked so good! It was shiny and clean and you could tell that this really helped her itching. I like this shampoo so much that I used it on my other Shitzu Willow who has no allergy issues.

I was very curious to use the All Natural Laundry Powder. With a toddler and school age child there clothes can get really dirty so I hoped that this laundry powder would do the trick. I decided that I would test this out first on the clothes the kids had managed to cover in dirt the day before. I have to say I was a little skeptical but after washing and drying they looked great with no dirt in sight. The clothing did not have any smell to them that you would normally have after using a name brand but they looked very clean.

I am really impressed about EcoStore products and my experience with them makes me want to purchase more naturally cleaning products for my home. I would love to hear what your experiences are with naturally cleaning products!

Buy It: You can purchase the Hypoallergenic Pet Shampoo for $13.00. You can also purchase the Laundry Powder (Average 25 Washes)  for $11.00

Disclosure: Thanks to ecoStore I received two complimentary products to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received and all opinions are 100% honest and my own.
